We are going to Iowa for the Fourth of July, so we bought fireworks and shot them off for Family Home Evening last night. Fireworks are illegal in Iowa and the kids love to buy their own to have Daddy shoot off, so we opted to do a "little" show at home before we leave. The kids used their allowance and each of them picked out their own to contribute to the show. They really got excited when one of "their" fireworks was up next...
Kirsi picked out some three foot long sparklers. They lasted forever. Very cool!
Kirsi doesn't care for the whistling fireworks that Nathan bought.
I got some pretty cool shots. I need to get a tripod. For these last two shots I sat my camera on the edge of the trampoline and they came out a lot more focused.
Our finale was awesome. Jamie bought a few big fireworks. They were HUGE and LOUD! We had six. We only shot off two. Our neighbors are the type that would report us if we started to annoy them. We will shoot the rest off next week when we get home.

Debbie lives in Iowa. Her little boy, Christopher is getting baptized on Saturday. Miss you too!
